My fave items this week

I recently bought a new blusher brush to use with my new blusher and ive been using my new nail varnishes that I love.

I bought this Barry M blusher brush from Superdrug, it cost me £3. I've been using it the past couple of days and I love it. I bought it because I love Barry M and I liked the colour and style of the brush. It's soft on your face and puts blusher on nicely.

The blusher I use is MUA and was £2 from superdrug.

I've bought 2 new Rimmel nail varnishes and I love the colours. Pink and Black.

I couldn't decide which one to use on my nails so I used both lol 

I might treat myself to a new Cath Kidston makeup bag next week so keep an eye out for a blog post on my new buys :)

I done a post at the beginning of the week about a few products I bought and I thought I'd do another to show what I bought today :)

Mua mosaic blush, I needed some new blusher and wanted to try a different brand so I went with this one, I bought this because it doesn't look cheap even tho it was only £2! And I love the pattern on it.

I also got a new pencil eyeliner which is Mua I think this was also £2, I usually just get my eyeliners from primark but thought I'd try one of these out.

I bought a Rimmel nail varnish because I love them from Rimmel. I was attracted to this because of the top it has flowers on it and is from the 'Rita ora' collection.

I love it on :) it's quick dry and one of my fave colours to have on my nails. The colour is called neon fest and this was £2.99 well worth it :)

I bought this lipstick which is Collection and it's been brought out by Little Mix. It only cost £1.99. I never normally wear lipstick or lipgloss but thought I'd try one :) the colour is raspberry.

My final buy this week was just a cheap little candle from Primark. I'm actually really surprised at this, ive just lit it and it's so strong and it was only 80p!! Can't believe it, looks so pretty aswell.

The scent is sweet vanilla and coconut, will be buying a few more of these :)

Beginning of the week buys

Beginning of the week buys 

I've been looking through blogs and posts and been getting some ideas to try new and different makeup so today I thought I'd start by buying a new eyeliner, concealer that I've never tried before and a new nail varnish.

The new nails varnish I bought I come across in Superdrug it's from the 'Beauty U.K.' Section and the products are fairly cheap. I think the nail varnish was £1 if I'm correct ive just tried it out and it's okay but I found it very runny/watery. 

This is the result, I like the colour and I Surpose you can't complain with the price :)

My new eyeliner I bought is from a section ive not heard off before in Superdrug called 'Mua'. I wanted to try a new liquid type eyeliner as I'm currently using a Collection one but its so hard to put on and especially to get right! 

I quickly tried this one before and it's so much easier to put on, and I think it was only £2! 

My other product is Collection concealer, ive heard a lot of people talk about how good it is on their blogs and YouTube videos so thought I'd try it myself.

Not tried yet but I thought it was worth getting and for only £4 odd can't go wrong really :)

As I love doing my nails and having my nails done in a salon I thought I'd post some pictures of my nail varnish collection.

These are all my branded ones and my favourites, there's Rimmel, collection, Kelly brook, beauty uk, Barry M. 

Rimmel, I usually buy this brand a lot because it's quick dry and always cheap. Usually costs me about £3 if that for one.

Barry M, ive always loved theses nail varnishes, can get all sorts of colours and there usually cheap too!

My 5 February favourites

We're now into March! So this blog is about my 5 favourite items I got in February and why I like them all so much and maybe help you bloggers choose something if you want to treat yourself this month :)

My first one is my pink Rimmel nail varnish

 

It's called 'Fancy Fushia', its so easy to put on and the reason I like it so much is because it drys in about a minute or so! No girl likes putting nail varnish on and having to sit around waiting for it to dry! Just simple and quick and this has stayed on for about 4-5 days :)

My second favourite is face wipes, I usually just go for baby wipes to remove makeup because there cheap and do the same job as expensive ones, but I went to tesco and they had 'Along came Betty' products half price! I've never actually tried any of this stuff before but the face wipes were only £1.50! Il be getting them again as they have a scented smell which is lovely and there soft on your face, really recommend buying them :)

My 3rd favourite is Cath Kidston soap, im obsessed with using this.

It gives your hands that scented flowery smell and lasts for so long! As all does Cath kiston stuff does haha, you can either buy this soap as one or you can get in a pack of 3, ive got the pack of 3 as it will keep me going for ages!

My 4th favourite is Next diamond perfume. I've always loved perfume from Next. One because it's cheap and two it always smells nice. This bottle is £8

Usually lasts me a few months but there is a bigger bottle for £12 I think? Worth trying :)

My final favourite this month is a large candle that I got from Matalan. 

Im a big lover of candles and I seen this and thought for £3 im having that! The scent is called 'Lily Bloom' and it smells so so nice! Really strong smell that fills the room. Would really recommend anyone to buy one, they last ages aswell!

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

Straight

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

I have blonde highlights put in around every 8 weeks by my hairdresser 

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?

If I'm in work il have it up in a ponytail so it's out of the way but if I'm just at home or going out somewhere I usually have it down

4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?

Bit of both really, I like going a salon and I like doing my own. Here's what I have done when I have my nails done

 Just pink acrylics with 2 glitter fingers

5. How often do you change your nail varnish?

If I have acrylics on they can last for a good 2 months with having infills done but if I have just nail varnish on usually twice a week

6. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer?

Bother winter and summer, always got to have them painted

7. How long does it take for you to put on makeup?

Depends where I'm going, if it's work or just shopping etc about 10-15mins but if I'm going out at night about half an hour maybe longer

8. What do you do first eyes/face?

Face then eyes

9. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?

Just buy what I need when I need it

10. How often do you wear fake eyelashes?

Never they irritate me

11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?

Just the usual foundation, mascara and blusher. 

12. Do you wear makeup when you're home alone or with family?

Depends if I can be bothered or not, if I'm not going out properly not

13. Will you leave the house without makeup?

No way haha I know I don't wear much as it is but I still got to have some on

14. How many high-end products do you have?

I just usually use Rimmel, revlon or collection 2000 high end ones don't really bother me tbh

15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when your getting dressed?

Decide when getting dressed

16. How often do you change our handbag?

Well I have a lot of Cath Kidston bags so usually twice a week because I have a small one for work then a different one for shopping etc

17. What time do you wake up and go sleep?

Usually in the week go bed about half 10-11 then wake up at half 6 every morning as I get up with my boyfriend for work

18. How often or when do you workout?

Don't do any off that during winter haha! But in the summer I ride my bike to work and where ever else I go so that's m excerise 

 

19. Are you left handed or right handed?

Right handed :)

20. How tall are you?

5 ft 3 

21. Do you speak any foreign languages?

Nope

22. How many pets do you have?

I use to have 3 yorkie terriers but 2 died last year 😥 so now I just have one he's called Nipper 

23. How often are you on blogger?

I have a quick look on now and then and my mate always gets me writing blogs haha :) 

24. Do you read comments posted on blogs? 

Not really

25. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?

I don't yet but as I get more into doing blogs I might

26. How did you come up with your blog name? 

I'm a big lover of Cath Kidston and because it's all about flowers I thought I'd just make a name from that 

27. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?

My iPhone 

28. How often do you clean your house?

Everyday, think I have OCD everything has be spot on and clean lol

29. What's your favourite colour? 

Purple :)

30. Do you swear?

Yeah more than I properly should 

31. What are you doing with the rest of your day?

Getting in bed and watching a film I think.

Everyday products I use

Just a short and simple blog on the products I use everyday and my favourite products I like to use.

My makeup I use everyday is a range of different things, nothing expensive but it does the job. 

I use collection 2000 foundation and have for years now and it doesn't look too much it's just enough and people usually say it looks like I havnt got any on but that's the point lol. 

My brush I use to put blusher on with is one out of my Cath Kidston set, I got the set for just £10 on eBay very cheap and was brand new :) 

The blusher I use is called 'Elf' one of my friends bought it me for my birthday last year and it's still going, I love it :)

My eyeliner is just from primark.

The mascara is Rimmel which is waterproof and the other is Collection 2000, I prefer the Rimmel one because it's waterproof and seems to stay on longer and better.

The other things I use everyday and love using is my perfumes. I have 3 favourites at the moment one from Next, a 'Beyoncé' and one from Cath Kidston.

 Cath Kidston perfume, £16 in any stores. 

 'Sparkle' from Next, can either have a small bottle or big bottle. This one was £8 and the bigger one is £12.

 

And Beyoncé perfume, this was a Christmas present so not sure how much it cost but it smells lovely :).

Memorable jewellery

I'm the kind of person who only wears jewellery that has some meaning behind it. I love Pandora including their rings, charms and braclets and my Auntie bought me a Thomas Sabo braclet for my 21st which i love too.

Here is my pandora braclet, which is nearly full! 

 This is my best piece of jewellery, one because I can fit lots of charms on it and because every charm has a meaning behind it, my best charms are:

Number 21 because my Mum and Dad bought it me for my 21st :)

My 2nd favourite is a bunch of flowers that was my Nan's but sadly she passed away last year so it got passed on to me.

My thomas sabo braclet is my other favourite braclet but there's pros and cons to this one

It's a lovely braclet that goes with anything your wear but I had trouble at first with it and for anyone thinking of buying one id make sure you get the right size as mine was too small and when I was taking it off one night it snapped and the beads went everywhere! BUT I took it back to the shop and they changed it for a bigger one which was good. The other con is you can only have 3 charms max where as pandora you can have loads! The pros are it's easy to get on and off and it's a light braclet to wear :)

Here are my 2 charms, I have '21' for my 21st and a girl and boy that represents me and my boyfriend and he bought me that for Christmas.

My 3rd favourite is my heart locket necklace that I got for Valentine's Day and I've got 2 pictures of my boyfriend in it. You can have any picture you want but it is a lovely necklace to keep.

My 2 rings that I wear every day are my pandora one and it's green on top that is for 'May' my birthday month and a blue pearl ring that I got for my 18th.
